Zink was commissioned to produce a series of live action and animated promo elements and ID’s for the launch of the Space 2014 rebrand.“The goal with this rebrand was to move the core idea of the channel out of outer space and bring it into the world here on Earth. The idea was to separate it from the old notions of niche sci-fi, and instead celebrate and embrace the mainstream appeal of genre programming,
”The extensive campaign surrounding the rebrand included promotional support across all of Bell Media’s television networks, both on-air and online, additionally, the campaign will received support through ads on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, as well as bus ads in Toronto and Vancouver, and movie pre-roll support at Cineplex theaters in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.
