What begins as a straightforward story about business funding quickly drifts into something far stranger and more cinematic. The film follows a factory owner brought to a standstill by financial hardship, sending out an SOS through his cellphone — reimagined as a literal message in a bottle cast into an abstract, dreamlike sea. That plea is intercepted by a pelican, the surreal courier from the world of U GRO Capital.
Zink leans fully into the metaphor, crafting an eccentric visual universe populated with stylized characters, symbolic landscapes, and painterly environments that feel suspended somewhere between fantasy and advertising folklore that expands into a visually rich fable, balancing whimsy, satire, and spectacle with a confident cinematic hand.
